PROGNOSIS ATM Transaction Manager

PROGNOSIS ATM Transaction Manager identifies real-time automated teller machine (ATM) transaction trends in ACI BASE24 environments. It does this by monitoring the number of approved and denied transactions across your ATM network.


These transactions can be broken down by financial institution ID (FIID) and combinations of many other factors to uncover the exact nature of problem transactions and to determine who is being affected.

PROGNOSIS monitors total ATM transaction and interchange response times in real time, allowing you to break down response times into components for detailed analysis. 

PROGNOSIS also monitors stand-in transactions for other institutions, so you can minimize your exposure to risk. You can identify the number of stand-in transactions over time, the relevant stand-in institutions, and when to escalate excess stand-in quantities.

PROGNOSIS identifies how business applications are affecting your technical components such as disk, and CPU (or visa versa) through real-time transaction throughput (TPS) monitoring correlated against system resource utilization.

PROGNOSIS ATM Incident Manager simplifies ATM problem management in ACI BASE24 environments, providing the information you need to enforce service level agreements (SLAs); to work more effectively with third-party service providers; and ultimately to optimize ATM availability.


Monitoring the status of your ATMs, PROGNOSIS automatically dispatches trouble tickets in a powerful two-way email process that allows service personnel to acknowledge receipt or update the status of tickets from their remote location.


Your third-party service providers can use this email capability to update their estimated time of arrival, to add commentary to a ticket, or to query the status of an ATM - all without human intervention.


PROGNOSIS makes it easy to monitor your most important ATM problems by flagging and escalating tickets that have exceeded defined SLAs. Every milestone in the resolution process is tracked.


Microsoft Word-based reports show you the causes of any downtime and the percentage of time your ATMs were available. These reports also highlight exceptions by ATM or service provider, giving you an effective way to identify service level breaches, and to measure and enforce SLAs.

PROGNOSIS POS Transaction Manager identifies trends in denied point of sale (POS) transactions in real time by monitoring the number of approved and denied transactions across your ACI BASE24 POS network.

These transactions can be broken down by financial institution ID (FIID) and combinations of many other factors to uncover the exact nature of problem transactions and to determine who is being affected.

PROGNOSIS proactively manages your POS resources and will generate an exception event if an abnormal transaction response code or excessive response time is detected, allowing you to identify and address the problem long before customers start complaining. PROGNOSIS monitors total POS transactions and interchange response times in real time.

This allows you to breakdown response times into components for detailed analysis.

Slow response times can be interrogated to determine whether the cause is a local problem or a slow responding institution.
